• 1 pc egg
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1x dash of pepper
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp boiling water


  1. In a deep bowl, at high speed of an electric mixer, beat the egg until thick and lemon coloured.
  2. Add sugar, salt, dry mustard, paprika, and pepper.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add one cup of oil in a small pencil strealn beating until mixture begins to thicken.
  5. Add remaining oil, in a thin stream beating on high util mixture is thick.
  6. Add water, mixing well.
  7. Spoon mayonnaise into glass or plastic container; cover tightly and chill.
