My father in law turned 80 last week and we organised his surprised birthday party at our house and I cooked for around 12 people (adults) while my sister in law baked the cake (it’s her business).

I had lots of fun, the menu includes Shrimp BBQ with Lime, Quorn BBQ with fruits, Tuna with herbs and lime cooked on BBQ without marinating and BEEF BBQ with Sweet BBQ sauce.  There are also Goat cheese and Tomato Millefeuille, Giant Mushroom BBQ,  Spring rolls and Samosas. My husband cooked Apple Crumble.

He was very surprised to see the whole family with his great grandchildren around all in good cheer. He enjoyed the day and even the sun shone brightly when BBC forecasted clouds and rain!
